Simon Valles and Darrell Valles

Owners

Simon, along with his son, Darrell, purchased Bryan Agri Products in December 1995. Originally from Casa Grande, Arizona, the Valles family moved to Oklahoma in 1978.

Both father and son have a background saturated in the agricultural industry. Simon got his start in the cotton, grains, and alfalfa production fields in Arizona. Later, he raised horses and cattle on his own farm in Arizona. He worked for 13 years in the meat market in Casa Grande, AZ. After moving to Calera, OK in 1978, Simon dedicated 17 years to the Winn Dixie grocery store chain as the local Meat Market Manager. Today, Simon prides himself in his cattle and hay operation on the same ranch in Calera that he purchased in 1978.

Simon and his wife, LaVelle, reside in Calera, OK on the family ranch. Together, they have two sons, Darrell and Mike Valles. Simon and LaVelle love to travel back to Arizona and visit their old hometown and enjoy spending time with their ever-growing family.

Darrell has followed close in his father’s footsteps, spending approximately 10 years as the Meat Mart Manager for both Winn Dixie and Wal-Mart, before taking the leap into entrepreneurship. Today, Darrell specializes in cattle, hay, and pecan production on his ranch in Utica, OK.

Darrell and his wife, Kristi, also reside in Calera. The couple has two daughters, Lindsay and Emily, and two sons, Tyler and BJ. Kristi is a music teacher in Silo Schools. They both love to garden, travel, and spend time spoiling their grandson, Mitchell.

Simon and Darrell thought it was a great privilege to bring all of those years of experience of working with people and serving their many needs over to Bryan Agri. It also allowed them get involved in something that is truly their passion: all things agriculture. It has served them well with their customers and many friends.
